With a 25 year career developing and deploying communications strategies, Kristy O’Sullivan has the breadth of experience and the passion to support the success of her clients’ brands.
Her expertise spans internal, corporate and marketing communications; public relations; brand deployment; as well as change, talent, and performance management. Kristy’s true talent is that of a writer and storyteller, and she enjoys creating audience-based content that conveys a company’s value, vision and points of differentiation.
Kristy began her career at Benchmark Communications in 2000 (now Porter Novelli), focused on media relations for the technology and consumer sectors. In 2003, she joined the communications team at Celestica, a US$5 billion leader in design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions for many of the world's most innovative companies. During her 15-year tenure with Celestica, she led internal and external communications for various areas of the business before transitioning to Human Resources, where she was responsible for the company's global talent strategy, including succession, performance and change management. Kristy also co-founded the company’s annual employee awards program, and was involved in leading grassroots initiatives that evolved into the company’s environmental sustainability and gender diversity initiatives.
In 2018, Kristy founded Kapricorn Communications, realizing her vision to become a strategic communications partner for companies across both B2B and B2C sectors. In this new venture, she is excited to help her clients harness the power of words – telling stories that differentiate them in the eyes of their customers, employees and other critical stakeholders. Her clients have spanned the technology, healthcare, fintech, industrial, manufacturing, petrochemicals/oil and gas sectors and beyond.
